This Gilligan's Island Pinball Machine was released by Bally (pinball manufacturers) in 1991.
The theme of the game is that the Island's Volcano is about to explode, and you have to help collect ingredients, in the form
of fruit, shells, turtle eggs, rope and a shrunken head, to help The Professor make a special formula which can stop it from exploding.
You then have to place the formula into the volcano to save the day. This game was especially unique in that it was the first ever pinball game released which featured a dot matrix (i.e. digital screen) visual display. | |
